My probation officer said I was not allowed to visit my injured child in the children’s hospital and that she would have me arrested. I told my p.o.that I was going anyway, I let my attorney know I about the situation. I don’t believe they ever spoke. She didn’t arrest me and actually neither one of us ever made mention of it again.

Heart wrenching. The best medicine for this kid is his parent’s love, yet the hospital denies it to him.
I hope Adele takes a pound of flesh from children’s hospital Milwaukee. It seems we get more Florida-ish every year. As a side note I remember being horrified when on Nov 14, 2013 a gunman was shot near the neonatal unit at this hospital. F’…ed up priorities at this hospital. But make sure you pay for the great care your child gets…….. Even if you are not allowed to be their parent at children’s hospital. Milw

This should be an easy case to win. I bet this is settled out of court. However it would be better if this ends up in front of the judge so all hospitals will know they can’t deny a parent’s right to be with their children in a hospital when this is the most important time for a child to have the comfort and care of their parents. It’s amazing that the staff at any hospital could be so cruel.
Thankfully, this case is getting a lot of media attention. “Chicago Tribune”, “Time” magazine, etc. ????
